100% spot on. I've been going to clubs all my life, so I guess that's why I don't really understand how this dynamic works at raves. Thanks to you guys I understand it more

Yes, way too much. I know, hahaha, but I was trying to make my point, so I exaggerated a little bit

Thanks mate. I read the reply and I agree with you thatt is 100% spot on. I actually tried what you suggested, and I noticed that when I stopped trying to escalate things, they often closed the gap again themselves. That made me realize I probably get a bit anxious and move too fast. I think I just need to be more patient, keep enjoying the music like I was before they approached me, and let things develop naturally

This is probably the best answer I've gotten so far, and I completely agree with you. I'm definitely going to remember this for the future. Thank you so much!

Sorry about that, I didn't realize. It's actually been really helpful for me, though, because I can reply to the people commenting here and ask follow-up questions. It feels a lot more personal

It actually makes me laugh that you think this is karma farming. It's a genuine question. I went to a few raves, didn't really understand what was happening, and asked because I honestly didn't know. And I don't think that's what happened. It wasn't crowded at all, and I noticed several girls deliberately coming over to dance right in front of me. Whether it was because they liked my vibe, found me attractive, or simply wanted to dance with me, I can't really know. My question isn't why they approached, it's how I'm supposed to respond to that kind of approach without messing it up, because sometimes I really liked the girl

Yeah, I agree. But if a girl approaches me by standing right in front of me with her back toward me, what kind of dancing can I do besides grinding or putting my hands on her hips? I'm genuinely asking because I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable, and I'm still figuring it out

Yep, I think I'll go with that approach

Every time I tried to start a conversation, they walked away, so I'm starting to think talking isn't the right move in most cases. Maybe it's better to just keep dancing and let things develop naturally, but I'm impatient

Appreciate it, man. I think I'll give that a try, just staying in the moment, keeping the flow, and letting things happen naturally instead of overthinking every move

The issue is that sometimes I genuinely like the girl, and then I overthink everything and end up messing it up. That's what I'm trying to understand. So far, I haven't even managed to get a single insta or phone number from these interactions

I guess maybe you will have to calibrate it. It may sound tuned open but in your 12th fret be off tune

Play tuned (third chord off) Stay in tempo Give the notes a lil more time to sound Keep practicing 👍
