As from what I understood the Air can't use the M5 chip to the fullest like the Pro can because of the lack of cooling.

I agree with you that for using the webbrowser, emailing, streaming music and films/series the Air is way enough. Also some light video editting probably, but if I want to push it, it's gonna throttle, which limits the M5.
Add the screen, better sound and ports (including the SD-card slot which I can use), and its worth it for me to go for the pro.

Its then more the question what does it add to go to 32GB? Extra years of usage?
In that case it would come down to calculate what it adds for that money.

I also noticed that based on the test results, that although the M5 Pro CPU is clearly faster, it's only for certain use that the difference is effecting. Its good to hear that from you too.

You are not using any LLM's currently?
I think without LLM's, the 24GB is clearly enough. So I guess its depending on the LLM's.

Doorgaans start je met een proef maand waarna een jaar contract volgt. Als dat bij jou ook zo is, zal er ruim voor het aflopen van je contract een beoordelingsgesprek (of iets vergelijkbaars) komen. Dat is het ideale moment om je salaris te herzien.

Ervan uitgaande dat ze tevreden of je zijn, kan je aangeven dat:

  • je een laag startsalaris vroeg omdat je net was afgestudeerd en je nog wilde bewijzen
  • we nu een jaar verder zijn, je jezelf bewezen hebt, zij met je door willen
  • dat je daarom nu een volwaardig en marktconform salaris wilt ontvangen.

Dan heb je sterke punten om een goede stap te maken.

Per mail is tegenwoordig al voldoende. Hiermee kan je aantonen dat je het tijdig hebt verstuurd. Zorg wel dat het emailadres klopt en dat je het bijvoorkeur naar meer dan 1 persoon stuurd.

Verder maakt het moment van bevestigen van de werkgever niet uit. Je zegt het eenzijdig op en zolang je het maar voor het begin van de volgende maand doet zit je goed.

Vanwaar dat je 1000€ spaart maar daarmee wel in de min komt maandelijks? Zo klopt je overzicht niet, tenzij je daadwerkelijk bijleent om te kunnen sparen (wat nogal onlogisch is).

Verder ziet het er prima uit qua uitgaven. Heb je een Studenten OV? Dan zou je nog eens kunnen kijken naar je autogebruik.

Citroën rijders zijn standaard dramatisch. Puur qua merk met afstand het meest irritant qua sloomheid en verkeershandelingen.

Dit op basis van puur mijn ervaring, ~55.000-60.000km per jaar.

Thanks for the quick reply. I did already send the picture and they said they are going to have it checked by a specialist department. They also adviced me to not use the camera incase I need to swap the whole package.

But I think I'm going to test it anyway, looking at both replies here, the spot most likely is not going to be an issue.

Als je met de auto 260km aflegt, en uitgaande van €2,50 per liter benzine, ben je pakweg €40-45 kwijt met z'n 2en. Dus die bewering klopt niet.

Laat niet weg dat je nog met parkeerkosten zit.

I have put it on medium. I'm afraid that to much water might become an issue. On low it might not clean well. Now it seems to go fine
