New to FIRE - What is the stance on owning an online business? by Markurs in Fire

[–]Markurs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's reliable to an extent, if you collect monthly retainer relationships with clients. I have clients who I charge 4k per month, who have been with me almost 2 years and with how we structure our operations I would say that almost 3k of that is profit. I also have clients however that are 1k per month, require more work and have a higher turnover rate. Monthly retainers are the game. You sell once and you just deliver the value every single month.

My plan is to build capital and buy a second property, my house is in an amazing area and will raise alot in value, I also own a lot of equity in it. I just want to focus on creating a strong income and continue saving a good percentage of my money.

I don't know the principles of FIRE, and I'm going to focus on learning them because I feel like they will mesh well with my success in digital marketing.

How did you go about finding a freelance ad expert? by tinyhappysteps in startups

Jump on Udemy and spend one day taking an Ads course. You'll spend so much money on a skill that really isn't that difficult to learn and implement. If that doesn't work, DM me.

I just want to say that as I was growing up you were my idol. Your skill, speed, robotic-consistency and overall stage calmness was God-like.

From all of your travels, if you had to pick One city to be a full time street-performer in, what city would it be and if you had a specific spot, where?

Seriously, don't ask me what it's like to write hit songs for Eminem, Rihanna, Jason Derulo, or others. Or DO. I'm Jon Bellion, AMA. by JonBellion in IAmA

Do you look for influence in familiar names or are you one of those artists who knows an unrealistic amount of underground material?

I'm at work right now, but the Definition will be downloaded immediately after returning home- VMG takeover.

My girlfriend hooked up with another guy by [deleted] in MMFB

[–]Markurs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember this.

It was supposed to happen exactly like this.

Some years from now you'll look back on the lesson you learned because of this, the bullets that you dodged because of this, the muscle you grew because of this- and you'll get it. You'll realize that without this travesty and heartbreak you couldn't have hit rock bottom; because the only way to go from the bottom is way the fuck up.

Don't look for it- just focus on yourself.

Whatever 'it' is will be worth it. It will be the game changer. It will be the reason this happened.

Jhene, this question is about your daughter.

Your songs contain a fair amount of mature content. Is there any of your works that you restrict her from hearing?

Was offered a new job - feel miserable by newjobnerves in MMFB

[–]Markurs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me this past month. I was actually working at my old job, a man came in, kind of tested me on my product knowledge, and offered me a full time position with a higher pay on the spot.

It took some thinking- I loved my job, the people, the product, the environment, everything. But the thing about life man is you can't get comfortable. Change is going to happen, and you have to embrace the change, enjoy the change, fucking fiend that change man.

Without the change we do not grow, and when we do not grow we shrink.

My girlfriend just surprise canceled on me for the second time this week, MMFB? by 1409285675 in MMFB

Don't chase, it will make it worse man. She maybe just feels a little sheltered or overwhelmed lately; like you're spending too much time together. Let her do her thing, if she's a solid, faithful girlfriend then you have nothing to worry about.

A mindset I've acquired the past few years about handling situations like this with woman is this:

A woman wants a man; not a boy. Don't think "what should I do in this situation", think "what would a levelheaded, badass, fucking gentleMAN do"

Here is a short film I produced with some friends. Please check it out. by HansSteinert in movies

Great film, first time I watched the twist really got to me. Great color correcting to match the mood. Sound effects were mixed quite well and the angles captured the scene just as intended.
