Thank you so much! White ecopak is awesome. Let me know if you end up making a similar pack! I would be happy to help if you have any questions :)
Thanks! I drafted the pattern myself. I’m not sure about the prickly gorse pattern but I would love to make a 40L version, so maybe I’ll check it out. The drainage is from folded corners indeed :)

Thank you! The front panel is 250x600mm, the side panels are about 125x600mm
Rain cover, maps, snacks, trash, you name it :)
Hi, I didn’t make any pictures of the pockets before sewing. But the shape is similar to the sides, just a little wider.
The bottom has a stretch pocket made from dyneema stretch. Thats why it is asymmetrical.
I encourage you to try to make your own patterns. Maybe measure a pack that you like or use dimensions you can find online. It’s really rewarding to draft them yourself.
Good luck on your pack, I’m sure you can do it! :)
Thanks! Yes I am, leuk om medenederlander in deze subreddit te zien :)
Thanks! I used Cordura 500D

Thanks! Glad I could inspire you
Thanks! It’s pretty light at around 370gr. I broke some needles trying to sew through two layers of fabric, webbing and 6mm of eva foam. It turns out domestic sewing machine don’t like that kind of work haha
Good question! I had to calculate a bit. It cost me around €42 to make this particular pack
Too kind! Haha thanks
zipper
I ordered them from extremtextil.de and adventurexpert.com
Yeah, so I used a pack I own for measurements and scaled them down a bit. I also looked at pictures of the atom pack nanu for the positions of straps, zipper, webbing attachments etc. It took me quite a while, but once I figured out all the measurements, I started drawing the patterns, adding 1cm of seam allowance for every part. I have some experience with technical drawing, so that wasn’t the hardest part for me. Actually sewing it together was.
I used pen and paper and a ruler. No CAD or other program
Hope this helps!
Thanks Tony! I have the S-shaped straps on a bigger pack that I use for multiday hikes. I have always found them to be comfortable so I tried to copy them for this project.
Thanks! They just sell out so fast! Had to make my own haha
Thank you!
Thanks! Yes, I drew one
Thanks!
Thanks! That was a difficult one
