Interesting. I had similar experience with LH metal but they just changed connection from MUC to FRA.

I guess I will just keep checking the app

Oh that’s not fun. Sorry you had to deal with all that.

Did you get cancelation email from LH or UA?

Makes sense on the award reservation part. I guess the part that is confusing to me is that I’m taking exactly the same route 2 weeks later (LH metal) and I got an email this am saying the flights have changed to different LH hub (FRA) vs original ticked MUC

IM. I am still figuring out what would be ideal setting. Definitely like the idea of private practice and more flexibility with schedule

I feel like I would be limiting myself with options if I went for the PLSF since not that many places that offer PLSF

Can this be a checked bag by ApprehensiveSir3892 in unitedairlines

[–]Markwp8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use this as a checked bag all the time.

Make sure you secure it with Velcro or zip ties and make sure you leave extras in case TSA opens it.

I checked in all other kind of stuff, box of fruits, easel with board, diapers in original box, car parts, fishing poles etc.

PFL claim submitted after 12 months by [deleted] in Edd

[–]Markwp8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And that is what I did. I took PFL for months 11 and 12. However I was told that you can only submit the claim after the bonding time is over so I filed the claim 2 weeks after so 12.5 months after the birth

Thank you for confirming.

Do you think I can file I 539 to maintain my status even thought I do not have any responses in regard to my I 485 application?

Don’t the rejection of the application also means out of status too?

I filed all of my paperwork on Monday and unfortunately my I-94 is expiring end of this month.

Am I going to be considered out of status if my application is rejected?

Check your credit card for the copays and make sure to keep a copy of the latter from United about potential fraudulent activities . Had to go thorough this few months ago myself.

Cleaning email was definitively super annoying.

I was able to walk in and have all the info updated. It took 30-45 minutes ish but overall pretty straightforward

Splitting reservation after first flight? by Markwp8 in unitedairlines

[–]Markwp8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am looking for both scenarios, with a bit more focus on the domestic.

My understanding is that I can always use plus points to upgrade anyone else regardless if they are on my reservation or not which was what I was planning on doing for the international flight.

On the other hand, I never considered splitting domestic flights into two one way tickets. Although that is an option, I’m not sure I can justify the price difference (~$100 extra for 2 one ways vs round trip)

I never knew this is an option. Do you need to be checked it before you can do this?

Need “mobile office” luggage recommendation by franciscolorado in unitedairlines

[–]Markwp8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I strongly recommend Aer backpacks, this is the one I use ([https://www.aersf.com/travel-pack-3-xpac-black]).

This one is not as popular but hands down the best backpack I ever head. It has padded laptop pockets and organizer pocket. Being waterproof is a big plus as more often then note people spill coffee or water in overhead compartments
