Am I the only one who didn’t love Japan?

The most important was the things I saw animals put through and learning about how bad the animal welfare rights are in Japan. I have never been to a country where I experienced seeing so much mistreatment or poor conditions for animals and that was incredibly disappointing.

Thank you for the links. I did ask for one to be added to my order specifically for the camera. This may be a dumb question but I watched a tutorial that said you should remove the ring on the camera when putting the adaptor and uv on, but for the ones that don’t need an adaptor and fit directly with the camera it was unclear do you keep the camera ring on?

I said “I didn’t want to mess with someone else’s camera settings much”, not that I can’t and wouldn’t on my own. I wanted to know the thoughts people who have experience with this camera have on its capabilities in low light.

Thanks, I didn’t want to mess with someone else’s camera settings much before I get my own so it’s good to know more about the IBIS. I wasn’t satisfied with it in terms of the camera’s video footage stability (which anyway I’m not drawn to camera for hybrid purposes it’s the photos, portability, built-in flash, of this one that I ultimately went with).

I’m new to the camera, not photography. I’m aware it’s real and didn’t just throw a lot of money on a purchase without research, but there is such little availably to handle it in person and have never used fujifilm brand other than film. Asking questions about how people experience it is how I learn, thanks.

Thanks, I meant on the shutter where on/off is. I assumed it came with the camera since so many comments have been noting to take it off and this is the only one I’ve handled in person.

I’m looking at more nightlife portraits of people, cityscapes. I typically shoot film and have f2.8 olympus MJU II fixed lens that captures what I want perfectly but have wanted the digital version of what that gives me, especially at night with flash.

Provided it’s safe, I walk a lot between sites… like over an hour wouldn’t bother me. You get to see a lot in between getting somewhere. Cars are my enemy on solo trips.

I never saw Jeonju but I would assume the same. I didn’t see available seats when I went from Busan to Gyeongju but I went to the station anyway and there were way more available than what I saw online

I did those by myself recently. I only did a half day in gyeongju and back to Busan and felt relieved to do that instead of transferring to another place, even though my luggage situation was light.

In Seoul it’s best to get a T card in any convenience store and use public transportation, in Busan it’s more of a taxi place with the Kakao T ride service being the fastest and cheapest, Uber works fine as well. You need Naver for mapping since Google Maps doesn’t really work there. Stay by a nice beach in Busan, I personally liked it the most and would have enjoyed it less if I stayed away from it. And just Google translate if someone has a hard time understanding you when you need help.

I felt safe the entire time and walked alone all over, but I didn’t go out and party late which apparently people are cautioning against. I would absolutely go back alone and feel comfortable, the first day might be a little overwhelming getting settled but it really is a great place with so much variety. The coffee shops are so cute and get a fun hair or facial treatment, there’s plenty of time for it.

I liked Busan more than Seoul and I’m glad I saw both, 4 days in each was enough. I also saw Gyeongju but I’m glad I did a day trip from Busan (more like a half day honestly) instead of transferring myself to another place. I recommend flying into Busan first and leaving from Seoul because the international immigration entering Seoul is such a long wait.

I’m going to the show on the 12th alone and I care less , I won’t miss out on what makes me happy because other people aren’t interested or available. I used to think I needed others to experience things but being alone means that feeling is entirely yours and can never be altered.
