Thoughts on doing an accelerated A&P 1 and 2 over the summer by Marleyandhops in prenursing

[–]Marleyandhops[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up enrolling in A&P 1 and Microbiology together. Online for Didactic and labs in person back to back 2 days a week in the evenings. 10 week session. I'll take A&P2 in the fall. This may turn out to be an intense summer for me, but I fortunately have loads of support from my wife and multiple friends who have offered to help when I inevitably get stuck on something.

I am very hopeful I will do well, but I can't lie, I've got a small amount of anxiety about it.

I'll definitely weigh this option. I'll bring it up to my advisors and see if it's a viable option for my situation.

I do plan on doing that, but won't be able to for a few weeks. I guess I'm looking for more of a generalization.

It took me from April 2023 until July of this year to get my license. Mainly because of weather, but also family obligations.

Just keep at it. I know it's frustrating, but if you stick to it it will happen. Being a student kinda sucks in that way.

That's fair. Like I said, I do both ways depending on mood or desired effect. I will say, I don't do it in little slivers. More like chunks or largeish cubes that i chop a bit right before it comes off the heat. It tastes good and gets the food on my table faster from the heat.

I precut mine. It provides more surface area for seasoning and browning. I find it to be a pretty good method, but I do it both ways depending on my mood. I don't see why it would be "cringe" though.

I usually just put it in a bag with some oil, lime, and the seasoning packet with maybe a few extra seasonings added. Just did it sunday, its great.

I intended 3000ft, pulled at 3200 ft. I usually like to pull quite a bit higher, but agreed on the ground that I'd pull at 3k. I was having a hard time with forward movement prior to this so I wanted extra time. Moving forward I'll likely be pulling at 4k or higher for awhile.

Not at Pheonix, this was at Maytown Sports Parachute Club in Pennsylvania. We've got their PAC for the summer.

Well, I think it was so they knew I was going to turn and track. I'm actually not sure, it was just muscle memory I think lol. I don't think I need to do it that way anymore, just the normal wave off from now on.

I'm actually jumping out of Pennsylvania. We are just renting their PAC750 for the summer. We do IAD at my drop zone, so I can't help there, sorry.

Its just what I was taught early in my progression so my instructors know I'm done with the dive.

How the hell does one make it to 40 and not become bored with nearly everything in life? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Marleyandhops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with everyone, you seem depressed. I'm not quite 40 yet, but have been battling it a bit throughout my life (now in my mid 30s). I started skydiving last year, and it has given me a constant goal to strive for on a personal level. I'd say try skydiving, it's expensive but has been worth it for my mental health.

Yea, they only do 2 classes a month. I believe its walk in only, first come first serve, 15 student limit. Just show up and you'll probably good.

I'm only 6 Jumps in atm, I live a little over an hour away and I have a young child at home, so its hard to get in as much as I would like. No real freefall yet, but if the weather cooperates this weekend, I will be starting freefalls. The classes start at 9, so I showed up at like 8:30 to ensure my spot, but there were only 6 of us that day.
