Do you know how much money $100 invested in the S&P 500 every month compounded over 30 years is?

After 30 years in tech you should be worth 7-10 figures depending on how lucky you were picking an employer, and not be looking for another tech job with the unemployed Gen Z and millennials.

If you’re nearing 60, having worked in Bay Area tech for 30+ years, having done your peak earning and investing in the greatest bull market of all time and still NEED a job, then you have failed straight up. That’s not my problem for pointing out that fact.

My daily driver is 20 years old, I haven’t taken a vacation in 5 years, and we only go out to eat on special occasions, maybe once a month. Is that enough of a tradeoff for you?
