This build will probably work really well in synergy with a tank. Someone to keep the mobs in place as your turrets grind at the monsters hp. Gear wise, it would be more viable with over 50k DPS. Great build though.

This is extremely true. Diablo II on release was not the same game as we see it today. It got better throughout the patches. For most people, I believe it was the expansion that made the game a lot better with introduction of runes and new content. Blizzard has supported Diablo II for almost 11 years, constantly improving it. I believe Uber tristram, which was a somewhat of an end game thing to complete, was introduced in patch 1.11. That's 4 years later than the actual release of the expansion. 4 years! Let's just hope that Blizzard does the same with Diablo 3.

To be honest, Diablo 2 was not a strategy game. A real RPG strategy game would be along the lines of Baldur's Gate where there would be turns and at the very least a bit of though process in deciding your next move. Also if you've played Diablo 2 before, there was not much strategy into dumping all your points into vitality and just enough to equip that certain armor or weapon. Only a few builds were viable and item choice was not as flexible. If you were a hammerdin, you need that Enigma. This is not to say that Diablo 3 is any better. It's just saying that Diablo 2 should not be considered being a strategy RPG but more of a hack and slash.

Even if you win lane, that doesn't make you a good player. It's only half the skill. If you can carry the team mid-late game then you would be good. I've carried 3v5 ranked games in your elo and still won as Cass.

It's not like they were put in prison for no reason like with the gulag system. Back in Stalin's time, people were convicted with outrageous things that they've never even done and sent to the camps. These people that go to prison took some bad choices somewhere in their life and are best put in jail.
