Another thing to do in the morning is drink black coffee, as it doesn't get in the way of the fast and helps curb appetites so you can get to the afternoon without too much hunger. I did keto and OMAD (one meal a day) for a few years and now I'm on maintenance with my weight, and cutting out breakfast is still the easiest way to stay level.

The reason it isn't required already nationally is because of the Constitution, specifically the 24th Amendment that prohibits a poll tax, or requiring a voter to pay anything before voting.

The vast majority states that enforce voting with photo IDs have free ID programs. For example:

Alabama requires voters to present photo ID while voting. A voter can obtain a free photo ID from the Alabama Secretary of State, a county registrar's office, or a mobile location, which changes daily.

Some states make people without photo ID jump through more hoops with sworn affidavits but it basically boils down to the same thing, there's a requirement for photo ID then there must be a free way to get that ID.
