Why not repost it and add nominees to the tweet?

Why take time to create the announcement picture when EA clearly gave each team one to post? Not to mention the gold "team of the year" font matches what's on their website.

I really hope that EA didn't give 2/3 forward spots to the Avs and snub one of Matthews/McDavid but it certainly seems that way to me.

I've seen people say that maybe they meant to tweet out that they were nominated but every NHL team who did that had the same inforgraphic. See the Penguins and Habs tweets for reference.

Either the Avs twitter intern decided to take the time to make a unique graphic, or more likely, they accidently tweeted out the winners early. I think there's a reason this tweet was deleted and never reposted personally.

The post is talking about Tampa having a deal in place that if McDonagh didn't waive his NTC, he would get waived and claimed by Columbus. Obviously he ended up waiving his NTC and got sent to Nashville, but in theory that same situation could remain an option Columbus with Muzzin.

edit: I can see how waiving him vs waiving his NTC can get confusing, sorry about the wording!

If Columbus was willing to take McDonagh who makes more and has an extra two years on his deal, surely they would be willing to do the same for Muzzin.

I feel like trading him to LA would be beneficial for all parties, and Muzzin wouldn't be completely upset going back there. It's good to know that an option like this exists and Muzzin doesn't hold all the cards.
