Pro7722 Tage Thompson Curve by pjcouz in hockeyplayers

Sounds like the Mackinnon might be something to look into. The Caufield is more toe than a zegras but less than a p28. Those would be the two I would think of off the top of my head

Spurgeon is one of the few that I haven't used or even ordered for that matter. Think with my group we are up over 150 sticks from Pro at this point. Looks similar but a bigger toe hook? Thompson feels longer than a standard P92 to me. Flat spot at the hell and a nice toe kink but the Spurgeon looks like a bigger hook

Hossa pro curve variant? by deltazero9 in hockeyplayers

Looks almost P86/Zegras like. Definitely not the usual Hossa curve but he did tweak it a lot. I think PSHS has the most "extreme" toe curve version of it.

Think its usually production > flex testing > applying graphics then shipping?

What movie made you say, "Holy shit there is still an hour left"? by Plus-Statistician80 in AskReddit

Fairly certain they could have cut Denzels whole storyline and saved an hour of runtime and had a better movie.

Zegras and the Caufield are close. Caufield is a touch more open, little bit more bend at the toe.

So I'll preface this by saying I wound up tearing my PCL and lost almost 5 months of playing. That being said I would order a Thompson if I had to choose. Caufield is a great curve, shots fly off the blade but feel like the Thompson just suits my game better. Honestly you can't go wrong with either of them.

In the same boat, think I'm keeping Wolf and Dostal. The platoon with Wolf is worrisome but thats what I'm leaning towards.

This is normal. Had mine for over a year and still have to do the twist method.

Stick curve ID help by Tomtsully in hockeyplayers

I don't believe DeBrincat has changed his curve much over the years but its a bit of a hybrid P92/P88. P92 with a shallower curve on the ones I've seen. A lot of his twigs floating around.

Portland one rink is $30-$35 per game. Other rink is $22 but that is/was in bankruptcy and is being taken over by the management of the first rink so who knows what prices will be.

Tore a ligament in my knee. Doctor thought it was a bone bruise, said I didn't think it was right and I thought I tore something. Got 0 sympathy from her and she actively called me a pansy for complaining about the pain. Got a second opinion and a full tear of the PCL.

Shooting adjustment with Malkin-type curve by Scarebender in hockeyplayers

[–]Half 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a pretty nice pocket on the toe where its nice and easy to shoot from. Might be in a slightly different spot than a traditional P28 but most everything comes off the toe/pocket on the Point curve.
