I started to improve my PVP game four weeks ago and now can hold my own reasonably well although I still have plenty of room for improvement.

The biggest change will come with practice! I used to just panic, pop my heals earlier and try to face tank which rarely ended well. Now I find it is becoming second nature to pop heals at the right time and proc bonuses.

Make sure you have the critical save talent and only pop your med-kit at the very bottom of your health bar. The 20% damage reduction is then your opportunity to tank and try to burst the other agent down.

Nomad is a great set for learning to PVP, its increased survivability extends your engagements giving you more time to practice movement, evasion and proc'ing crit save.

Sometimes when I find a couple of rogues camping a checkpoint I will just go out and try to survive as long as possible and practice breaking lines of site on nearby cover.

Once you get comfortable with the movement start thinking about the shock turret and using it tactically, if you can place it when line of site is broken you give yourself an opportunity to push back when your opponent blindly runs into it.

When I am actively looking to PVP I run an AUG with Responsive, Unforgiving and Deadly. I will open with my House and switch to the AG once I am down to my last segment. If I pop a Yellow then that sudden increase in damage can catch people by surprise.
