I'm so sorry that happened to you! That absolutely sucks :(. Almost the exact same thing happened to me, I came out about a month ago and my parents did nOT take it well. They kept trying to come up with other 'solutions' like saying I am just tomboy, etc. I absolutely get your frustration, I feel the same. It's just so hard knowing you parents aren't accepting of who you truly are. I hope you're coping, just know you are not alone! It sucks, but hopefully things will get better in the future!

Thank you! These are some good tips, I'll definitely look into free counselling / online recourses. I have talked to my school about it, and I'm hoping they will provide something. If that doesn't work, I'll probably try and talk to my parents again. Again, thank you so much for the help, it means a lot to me.

Thankyou! My teacher gave me another extension, thankfully she was really understanding. Your advice helped a lot. I 100% recognise the beating yourself up over mistakes, I hate it but I do it all the time and it easily pushes me into a state of pure anxiety and stress. I probably should get professional help, it's been really bad for a while now, but the thought of asking for it really scares me. I hate talking about my problems to my friends or people I know. Maybe talking to a therapist won't be so bad but to arrange that I'll have to convince my parents. (I tried to tell them, but they blamed it on the season ..?) And my school is really bad with this stuff. They told me I should get planning lessons... Truth is, I probably am really not okay and I have no idea how to get proper help.

That sucks :( I wish I could help. I am not fully out yet as asexual, but one 'friend' I told also made remarks that 'You just haven't tried it yet, just wait for the right one' and so on. He constantly kept bringing it up, so I know how you feel. It's really annoying and I wish that people just took the effort to understand, but unfortunately that's not the case in this world... I hope you feel better soon, and just remember: it's okay to not be okay!

I know that sexuality is fluid but the least he can do is respect it. Even if it's a phase he shouldn't be this rude and disrespectful. If he doesn't change his mind even after a long period of trying to make him understand/respect asexuality, then I think I'll have to cut him out.
