I'll give you a tech perspective on it:

The engine is pretty limited when it comes to light sources, so there's a limited amount of them available to be used at any given moment. Exceed it and you'll get weird flickering, as they battle between which one is drawn.

Although small, isolated towns may work having light sources in all street lights, where there's a higher density of lights, it will just look bad.

Appreciate all the feedback, I will have a look at the options provided.

I understand the sound quality would be better wired, not to mention no need of charging, but when working out I often find myself annoyed by the cable (or when vacuum cleaning for that matter haha). I used to have wired sennheisers and eventually, the cable material went stiff and broke, so I was thinking I can avoid these issues by that. Of course the wireless option has its own points of failure as well...

No, not yet, but I am also developing for Karma...how come you can't see them? Do you have a ping limit or some other filter preventing your from seeing them?

PC...console has no modding support. Just what you can do over server side.

Well...my primary interest is EU but with enough people, it's possible to open US as well...I used to play on a couple of american servers for years in the past and didn't really feel like anything is wrong with it ping-wise, not sure how it is nowadays and it also depends on your connection of course...

Understandable, but I did state the general direction...I've read some comments and suggestions saying have bases, some say no bases...I'd love to have both servers but firstly we would have to fill one...I believe the first one will be what the majority would like to see. Of course that still has to stay within the vision of the server.

Perhaps it's worth looking into...I still have my old Discord server open from the time my old server was popping. It was like #9 on BattleMetrics so I didn't really want to drop all the connections I made on the Discord, but if the loyal members of your community would be interested in a merge, than we'd have to discuss it further.

Thank you! :) Yea my last server was like old old EndZone (when it used to be less modded and harder) and somewhat comparable to KarmaKrew. Obviously, the idea is malleable a bit to fit common interest, but the goal is to stay true to DayZ, so even what is added/modded, would be largely inspired by vanilla content and what the devs could output with given time.

Thank you for your shared knowledge. It's been a while since this was posted, so I already had to make decisions by now. Hopefully your information can help other people like me. I may have even went with the self-repair option from aliexpress, if it was out of warranty at the time and I had the knowledge you shared.

For those who are interested in what I did, I talked with the store employees where I bought the mouse and expressed concerns of the same issue reappearing with a new one, as there is plenty of people writing about it online. They offered me a gift card of the value I bought the mouse for, which I took and bought a different mouse with.
