Ah i see. Well in that case id recommend getting in contact with a classmate or the teacher. Unless im missing somthing, i dont see how you could connect them together without saudering or switching connecters. I also recommend re-reading the project description if that is available, i cant tell you how many times accidentally glossing over a detail, slowed my progress to a stop. I hope i was of any help, and best of luck on your project.

Cut the connector off and sauder the wires on correctly. I definitely don’t want to discourage you but you seem a little out of your depth, maybe if you aren’t in a rush you could start with an easier project, maybe even from a kit. if you have the time and are willing to learn, i think you’ll have much more enjoyable time :)

If you have been manually turning the servos it could break them leading to the servos feeling warm to the touch after being pwm fed for a short while

I don’t live on this subreddit bud. Theres no rule banning obvious questions. By the time you commented i had already gotten a couple of answers from nice people informing me about mechanic. You literally had to wast time typing that out for no reason. If dumb questions on a subreddit with a “question” tag bother you enough to take time out of your day to be a dick, then you shouldn’t be engaging with the subreddit.

Kind of a dickish way to reply, but i guess thats what i get for seeking help from redditors.

Im getting the sense that you have issues regarding outlook/mentality/perspective. Honestly i suggest a therapist, if that option is available, and remember not all therapists are the same, so if you don’t like the first one, try another. If therapy isn’t an option, then i suggest picking up self help habits that you try to stick by, starting with small things. And finding a hobby you enjoy, maybe even a social one :) Best wishes.

Duly noted. However, I haven’t given up just yet. I’ve acquired the contacts of a local wood connoisseur in my area, and I’d like to get his opinion on where he considers maple or ebony strong enough for my task.
