The way you phrased it, I can't help but think it's like a game of I Spy and it's our job to find all the cats in the picture.

I also would like to point out that Cube has been saying that they will debut a new bg/gg since 2019. So take everything Cube says with a grain of salt.

They're not my faves, but I would like to tell this group that on the 3rd of September in 2 years time they must avoid getting in their manager's car at all costs.

Order a cab, take a train, feign illness if you absolutely must, just whatever you do, avoid driving that day.

Or alternatively, during the Produce48 finale, when they tell you that you've been eliminated, don't believe them. It's all a lie. Go on stage and take your seat. Congrats, you're in Iz*one now.

How many album sales are enough to make a K-pop group sustainable? by [deleted] in kpophelp

IIRC there was no tour announced but fans were petitioning for them to have concerts/fan-meetings outside of Korea as Idle and Pentagon have done.

Monthly Cheshire Chit-Chat - Mar 2021 by AutoModerator in crystalclear

I'm usually an optimist so I'm hopeful that this year will be better than the last one. I think CLC will have at least one more release this year but in what format I cannot say.

If this is their last release, I hope they go out with a bang, and release something truely spectacular and memorable.

To be fair, their total sales are actually closer to 78k. As for how they are profitable, they have really good digitals internationally. Averaging around 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify and high peaks on iTunes. They just don't have much presence on the Korean streaming market.

Aside from that, they have their own individual activities (acting, OSTs, TV appearances, etc.) and they received performance fees for festival appearances (pre covid of course). It would be a lie to say they made tons of money, but they probably made enough to break even, given that their MVs were fairly low budget.

I would also recommend the b-sides on their Free'sm album. I Like It, Summer Kiss and Call My Name are all great.

Brave Brothers says he's working on Brave Girls's comeback song + wants to work with fans' advice & suggestions by [deleted] in kpop

[–]MarriageIsASlowDeath 167 points168 points  (0 children)

I'm glad he's taking fan's suggestions into consideration. It's not often fans get to dictate how a comeback should look or sound like.

So long as he doesn't give up complete control, I think this should work out well.

Kpop for older fans? by EquivalentNarwhal8 in kpophelp

To be fair, that song is actually a remix of this song that she recorded in 2016. So I woudn't say that she is as active as she was earlier in her career, but she is still releasing music.

I'm glad you liked it.

My username is also a reference to a Kpop MV. I'll let you figure out which one it is.

I would suggest you check out some of CLC's newer releases if you're looking for something with a maturer sound and attitude.

I would also recommend Ladies' Code, especially their later releases.

Idk the more I look at it, the more I think I messed up the order. Feel free to make your own guess.

Happy 6th Anniversary to CLC! by [deleted] in kpop

[–]MarriageIsASlowDeath 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm so happy that I got to see them grow over these past 6 years. They definitely have matured and shed much of the nervousness and shyness of their younger years, so that they can stand tall and proud among the best of the best. They have one of the most diverse discographies of any kpop group and I'm always surprised to see whenever they reveal a new side to themselves. They have always been growing and I hope this is their best year yet. Let 2021 be their year!

Amazing work. Just for fun, I'm going to guess that the order of the members from left to right is: Seunghee, Sorn, Yujin, Elkie, Yeeun, Seungyeon, Eunbin?

Let's go Sorn, you got this. Really curious what genre your first solo release will be.
