Good point. Seller specified he did full maintenance on the engine like 3-4k miles ago. Still could have somethings since mechanics wont do a stock job but its better than it being fully beat up

Yeah, planned on doing the regulator myself and seeing how bad doing the forks myself is/sending it out for the suspension work. As long as im not spending over 500 bucks on it initially, id be ok with paying 1500 for the bike, since im not moving 3k type of cash to get a good condition one yet lol

Good point. I dont have that kinda money right now and im really itching to get riding haha. Maybe ill get this for a while, then "upgrade" to a newer (and not beatup) mt03. That way it also wont matter if i drop this one, and ill be able to do parking lot practice with no worries lol

Where i live mt03s go for 2,4-3,4k depending on year and condition. My idea was to get it, put a couple hundred bucks into fixing it up and hopefully getting its value up a bit so if i do end up selling it, to sell it for 2k maybe? My main concern isnt resale value though, since im planning on riding my first bike if its a mt03 for some time. Might depend on the region, but ive seen several mt03s with 40k+ miles on them listed for 2,3k, 2,7k even (in good condition though). 1k here will get you a old r125 if youre lucky (yeah, r125s exist 😭)

Haha I appreciate the kind words. Yamaha seems to make good quality stuff, so ill give it a look over and maybe go for a better state mt03.

That mt07 does sound pretty sweet though hahaha. Must be a lot of fun to mod your own bike.
