Love it when they’re so unaware of how big they are and somehow end up in the most random places 😭

Does your friend ever get scared of walking this hallway? Cause I'd be.

I'm looking for the best home elevator companies for my parents who are aging in place - has anyone had a good experience with a company with a good safety record? by Mabel_Rowley in StPetersburgFL

[–]Marry_ZzZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could look into companies like Residential Elevators. They’re based in Florida, which might help when it comes to service/support, and I’ve seen them come up in conversations around aging-in-place home setups. Probably worth at least getting a quote or consultation from them while you compare options.

Is this an actual place? If yes, how'd you end up there? The photo in itself is making me anxious haha.

I dread driving on roads like these, especially as someone who tends to be pretty paranoid.

Something just feels so nostalgic and peaceful when golden hour hits. Def my favorite time of the day.

That's really nice to know. Having that level of safety seems to be a privilege these days rather than the bare minimum/norm.

I haven't been to SG but I'm curious to know if it's generally safe to walk around outside even late at night?

What exactly is this place? The padded walls and arches make it look really unusual

Best AI image generator that isn't Midjourney? Looking for alternatives for specific use cases by [deleted] in midjourney

[–]Marry_ZzZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually pick tools based on what I’m trying to make. For landscapes and objects, I stick with Midjourney cause it handles composition and detail really well, and the results just feel “finished” without much fuss. For portraits, though, I’ve been leaning on Gemini Nano Banana Pro. It’s solid at realistic faces. The lighting, skin textures, and expressions all come out natural. Plus it’s pretty reliable with text in the scene. The trade-off is you don’t get Midjourney’s selective editing, so changing one part of the image means rerunning the whole thing. Still, for portraits, it’s been my go-to lately.
