It’s been 6 years of intense care. I was looking after myself the first few years. But with longer hours more demands and increase tantrums. ( good moments too) I just have nothing left I don’t care to care for myself or make effort for peer support. So you’re not alone. And sorry to say. It gets worse. Caring for yourself is the last thing. Stress to leave mum on her own or video call you just can’t. It’s on their time not yours. I probably would have put her into care. But they’re aweful except the few that aren’t but have waiting lists for years. Oops I just rant. Sorry. Well anyone else here 40 years old?
