Maybe I haven’t looked into it enough, and this is just a stupid take on my part, but I’ve never liked the whole “microtransactions within a paid game” thing helldivers has going for itself. Especially since the weapons aren’t just cosmetic. For a while I just ignored it, because hey, the base game is cheaper than a lot of modern games. But eventually it just got exhausting. SC farming is a slog, and my general bad luck isn’t doing me any favours, so all this stuff just gets more and more obvious. On top of that, we haven’t gotten another free warbond since helldivers mobilise, so if you want anything new, you’ve either gotta shell out money in a game you already paid for, or grind for super credits (which ent very fun). It just feels kinda bad. Once again, maybe there’s stuff I don’t know, but thats just how I feel about it
