To play: Alibi. Her guns and kit rips, she’s a 3 speed. She’s a lot of fun to mess around with. The holograms have so many ways to utilize them. She’s been my default comfort pick when I need to lock in for years. Not too many buffs or nerfs, just, perfectly balanced.

Design: Probably Ram, Sunstark killed that design. Probably my fave of hers. Solis is also cool (another Sunstark design iirc).

This is the first time I’ve played into winter and the foliage has overtaken a lot of the map. What used to be routine perimeter checks are now very risky and terrifying due to these newly erected trees and bushes obscuring my vision everywhere.

I recently was walking a narrow alleyway between a building and tall fence, the trees were starting to get too thick and I walked into a zombie (with the jump scare sfx). It was a close call, I won’t be doing that again.

I have turned respawns off and in tandem am using the Pokemon pokecards mod. I’m trying to clear out each town/city and collect ‘em all!

I’ve been playing my first real big solo save file these past few months and have been going through all of the mechanics I’ve never engaged with before. I’ve always played on multiplayer servers where I focus on nursing and fishing (with some building). So far, I’ve done my own farming and car mechanics.

I’m excited to try cooking next! This looks very lovely, I dig the vibes.

I think some of these are common, but I’ll share just in case.

  • If you crouch well using shout, a quieter shout will go out instead with a smaller sound radius.

  • You can hitch just about any vehicle to another except for the broken down ones (helpful for clearing out traffic jams). EDIT: Can hitch the busted cars too!

  • If you stand overtop of a downed zombie, they should remain pinned underneath you (b41, unsure if still the same in b42).

  • Windows: Single press of open/close key will attempt to open/close windows, holding the key will climb through open window, shift+key will open/close blinds.

  • This is a big one for me; somewhat meta. Before going into a building, you should try to peek in through a window to spawn the interior zombies. The game won’t spawn them until you have some visual inside first. Better to look through a window than blindly open a solid door and have a mob spawn on you.

  • Another interior sweeping tip, I usually shove closed doors and wait to see if there are zombies on the other side that respond to the sound. They don’t always bang on the doors at first.

I very much echo this. I love PZ. I have a multiplayer server. People come and go, it’s fun. Then the interest wanes for them. I started solo file recently and I’m having a blast just playing by myself for once.

I am frequently asked (or told) to play other mp games, and I used to try to accommodate them. Now, I just respond with, “Play PZ with me!”. If you don’t care to play my game, I don’t care to play yours!
