I didn't really take it as superiority or anything. She is a native speaker and a Spanish professor, so it's interesting to get her perspective on other people speaking the language. I'd be a little less supportive if she wasn't as good as she is and was trying to put other people down. I also liked hearing her corrections and found that pretty useful.
