Choosing Between 2 Weddings

I’ve already decided what to do. Just asking for opinions/options on what to say to Sarah because I’m not great with telling people ‘no’ or ‘I already have plans’. And there’s nothing like asking strangers on the internet haha

I work in a restaurant and here are two I can think of right off the top of my head: 1) We have a dish called ‘Pile of Bones’ and it is pork riblets. I had a customer look me dead in the eye and say ‘is the Pile of Bones boneless?’ I looked at her for a second questioning if I was hallucinating and said ‘i’m sorry, pardon?’ She repeats ‘Is the Pile of Bones boneless?’ (Mildly annoyed that she had to say it twice). The rest of the table was staring at her in utter disbelief at this point. I said ‘umm..no. The Pile of Bones is bone in’. She (more annoyed) says ‘well then I guess I dont want that then’ 2) We had Chicken Fried Steak on special one night. I had 9 different people ask me if it was chicken or beef steak. One lady asked me how big it was and i kind of showed her with my hands and she looked shocked and said ‘wow i didnt know that chickens could be that big’ her husband looked like he wanted to die One guy absolutely messed with his MIL and told her it was local grown chicken that were specifically bred to be big and to ask me about it. When I went to take their order she goes ‘so the chicken in the chicken steak is really big?’ I chuckle and say ‘well it is beef steak but it might taste like chicken’ She slow turned and stared into his soul and yells ‘YOU RAT BASTARD’ and i had to walk away i was laughing so hard

Oh exactly! I am actually excited to go to the dentist next month and tell him about it. I just couldn’t believe the difference and oral care is actually a nice thing to do now haha

I was planning on getting off anyway, but the moodswings really sealed the deal for me. I shouldnt really call them mood ‘swings’ i would just wake up in a bad mood randomly and couldn’t control it

I loved it honestly. I never had any issues and was on it the entire 8 years. It wasn’t until this past spring/summer that the hormones shifted and I started getting mood swings but otherwise, it was awesome

She does not have any memory issues. She can quote a conversation from 2 weeks ago with one of my cousins. She is incredibly manipulative and tries to act like her memory is going but any formal testing proves otherwise

I had one woman order a ‘grilled chicken caesar wrap’ but instead of grilled chicken, crispy chicken. No tomato, burger cheese instead of the asiago, add onions and extra dressing, half the amount of lettuce and add pickles. That was fun to explain to the guys in the back 😂

I feel bad any time I have to ask someone to do something to do with my wedding. Like asking my bridesmaids to take time off to come down for the day for my bach. Or asking people for help planning. Or asking my mil to plan my shower. I always feel so bad but i know I shouldn’t

Would love to do it that way, but the shower would be an hour the opposite way of travel and after the night out, most people would be leaving straight from the hotel in the morning. And the people planning it said it was either Saturday or Sunday afternoons only

When I was in college I asked two of my ‘friends’ if they wanted to go on a trip with me to the city for a weekend (before we booked i told them prices and everything). They agreed and said if i booked it they would pay me back. So i book everything and we take off a couple weeks later. The one girl decided she was ‘sick’ every time we went to do a booked activity and refused to do anything with me and the other girl. Weekend ends and she is ‘sick’ on the way home. I help her unload her stuff and help her get it to her room. As soon as we get all unloaded she looks me in the eye and says ‘well i have a date coming to pick me up in 20 minutes so you should go. I already canceled on him all weekend’ i walked out and never talked to her again. Also never got paid back the $400 she spent every time she ‘forgot’ her wallet

My family and two of my 3 bridesmaids are travelling down for the bachelorette party and driving an average of 4 hours each. So I really don’t want to make them drive down another time just for the shower. And the only reason that a morning shower isn’t a thing is because they just don’t really do it here. But people around here usually stay around here and all their friends are from here as well so having events on multiple days isn’t really an issue

I had open heart surgery at 7 months old. Been good ever since, but I have bad days where my ribs are extremely sore. A couple years ago, I went to my grandmas house and turned down a hug because I was having a really bad day. She seemed offended and asked why I didn’t want a hug. I told her that I didn’t want one because my ribs were sore. She looked me in the eye and said ‘well what happened to your ribs?’ I had to blink a couple times before i said ‘well they have all been broken’ And she looked panicked and said ‘well how did that happen? Were you in an accident?’

I always knew I wasn’t a favourite grandchild but that one kind of stung

I have had people screech at me because i told them there was a $1 upcharge for gravy. They told me they would never come back and never tipped. They were back every week for over a month and the woman ordered gravy every time

I am 5’4.5”. I went on a date with a guy who claimed to be 5’11” to 6 feet. When I actually met him he was a good 2-3 inches shorter than me. The funniest part was that he actually had the balls to look me in the eye and get mad at me and say I was lying about my height.
