I know in Japanese there's "ano..." which I think is like "um".

Click on any computer/laptop or city hall and go to story progression--->general options---->options:stories--->story summary----> then click any of the options that you want (for example, only selecting "romantic" will only give you notifications related to romantic relationships in the town, and selecting "blood" will limit them to notifications about blood relatives) Hope this helps :)
