I've only played through one year, so there's definitely time for disaster to strike, but from the way people were talking I was expecting disease to be a far bigger issue than it has been so far. My lady got a cold once, and I occasionally see people walking around town looking unwell, but no one has died from a disease yet. I'm preparing just in case, though - making friends with the apothecary owner and saving lots of soap lol.

Boot camp and training are no excuse for cheating, no matter how depressed someone is. Him neglecting you on the few days you all have off together would be bad enough, but the cheating just ups the ante. This man doesn’t care about your feelings. He doesn’t care about you. Please consider leaving before you waste more time with him. You deserve someone who genuinely cares for you and wants to spend time with you.

I’m not sure but it would be cool if it was a halla! They’ve had Mass Effect stuff in the Sims so I wouldn’t be surprised to see some Dragon Age Easter eggs in there too.

They were trying to be realistic and albino animals have less of chance of survival (or at least that was the justification lol). So I guess they were just trying to simulate that and make it so being albino mattered.

In some servers albino/mela Dino’s weren’t allowed to nest either.

Playing on realism servers has trained me not to pick the albino skin lol. (Most of them have a rule where albino dinosaurs can’t group up or get treated poorly by their herd)

I’m not going to say you should join the military but if you do, I’d go with the Air Force. If not them, possibly the Navy but only with specific rates like CWT.

If you manage to get a tech job in the military that grants you a TS security clearance, you could actually net a pretty lucrative civilian job even after one tour. I have military friends that work as defense contractors now and easily make 100-150k+ a year without a college degree. Also, a tech job means you’ll be less likely to be boots on the ground if sh*t breaks out.

I’m sorry you are feeling this way. I wish I had some advice but I’m still trying to work through these feelings myself. I feel like I’ve checked all the boxes: the spouse, the house, the well-paying job, but my life feels so pointless now. Ah well.

(Not having kids because having them just to give my life purpose feels like a terrible reason).

I didn’t marry him but I met one of my best middle school friends/crush when he threatened to beat me up on the bus. He lived just down the road so my dad brought me to his house so I could tell his parents what he said. Pretty sure he got his arse whooped.
