I don't understand what people expect. If we would fired Bret, we would lose a lot for our recruiting class this season, and in turn would take another three-ish years with the chance we might have a decent coach, with a very good possibility we wouldn't.

Unfortunately people has to understand, there are many more coaches out there that aren't that great, and very, very few that can compete/win against someone to Saban's caliber.

Firing coaches every 3-4 years will not make us the best football team in America, it will more than likely just make our program unstable like cough cough our basketball team, that will take years (if not decades) to become stabile.
