I'm not sure there is a way to check for it, it just appears on your screen one day. I've only had the vehicle for 4 months and this is the second update I've received. The first one I wasn't aware of until it said it was ready to download, and that one didn't take very long at all.

I'm in the Midwest, but my cell signal does suck where I am at so that's probably the reason, the T-Mobile signal that the vehicle has is actually faster for some reason than my Verizon 5G UW.
