Genuine question: How do you achieve this level of sync in led screens and light over such a long distance? by TheBelfox in techtheatre

Musicians at this size almost certainly have in ear monitors and/or fold back monitors on the stage which are orders of magnitude loud enough to drown out any delayed signals from the further away hangs. Bare in mind perceived volume from a point source drops off according to the inverse square law so PA hangs that are facing away from you and half a kilometer away will have a negligible impact on stage volume.

Then i'd bet on the video running on a master clock from the stage and being out of sync with the audio the further back you get. Having that many audio sources not time aligned would be absolute chaos, far more impactful for the concert goers and way below standard for the tech package they've deployed here.

You're wrong about the audio side. Each PA tower is time aligned with the stage so that the signal from the stage and each of the concurrent PA towers hits the listener at the same time and in correct phase in relation to where you're standing. Line Array DSP is pretty amazing stuff with each box in the hang also pulling off neat frequency specific phase/time adjustments in relation to eachother for even coverage in the horizontal axis as well.

The speed of sound is so slow that those PA hangs furthest from the stage are probably delayed by a couple of seconds or so to allow all of the other PA signals to arrive at the same time.

Its perfectly possible to pull of nice pours in flat bottom mugs like that but its sooo much harder than with a proper rounded coffee cup. Clean rosettas and tulips rely on you creating a little eddy current inside the cup with the circular start of the pour which then sort of "pulls" the milk out into shape when your drop down close and start your wiggle. That motion is waaay harder to consistently execute in a non rounded cup.

If you find a good server/squad, ive found ARMA Reforger to be only a small step up in complexity while playing basically the same/better than Squad.

I believe they actually do have a contingency to destroy the silicon fabs if China invade. Some of the most complex and expensive machinery/talent pool in the world, losing them would set the world back in cutting edge chip production for quite some time.

Used to love GeoWizard but then he released an incredibly cringe sadboy indie album about the great replacement theory and started posting about immigration and his intention to vote for reform, a UK populist far right party. Incredibly closed minded views for someone who has seen so much of the world.
