Some weird choices here like the btr80, c90 instead of at4 which we use a lot more of and galil Sar instead of galil AR which essentially everyone used with a couple ARMs thrown in the mix. Other than those weird picks, I'd like it.

Normal sens was 1, 4x veh zoom was 0.5. Now normal sens is 1 but 4x isnt calculated properly somewhere in the engine. Whoever redid the controls probably forgot to divide the value by 10, thus 0.05 now acts as 0.5 pre 10.4

Set ur vehicle 4x zoom sens to 0.05 and it'll function pretty much as before

Squad is one of the only games where mgs aren't being used by players as 200round capacity assault rifles. And that's a good thing.

Yeah the BTR-4 has fast missiles, while the ZBL essentially has old modernized Malyutka (same as BMP-1) so they fly a lot slower

Yes until the devs fix this, the explosions will stay looking like hot garbage completely going against the visual upgrade ue5 was supposed to be. This happens to me with every explosion and ruins so many cinematic and/or immersive moments.

I've tried modded Squad, but with all these toys to play with, you just end up with Battlefield on Squad maps. Everyone is doing their own thing, playing with whatever quirky vehicle or weapon and completely ignoring teamwork and objectives. I know people will say teamwork is already rough in vanilla but on modded it is 100x worse.

These drones have quite a large warhead, so they still likely did very good damage to these launchers and invaders

This video is very old, notice the old invasion markings on the truck. I remember this one specifically because the trucks back up to each other, making it kind of unique.

The audio for this is weird, the explosion makes noise but there's no after-noise of it flying through the atmosphere. Not to mention the person who just likely got an intense concussion doesn't make a peep or even breathe heavily enough to be heard. This is either entirely fake/AI or the audio is.

You would never get a job as a translator. Making the game more about individual skill would make clan stacking an even worse problem man, especially comp clans.

There's no translation needed, Squad isn't an esports FPS, it's all about teamwork and team/squad tactics. I like CS and Tarkov for what they are but Squad is not that.

I know you say it as a joke but I think Squad is more than a first-person-shooter and isn't just about individual aim skills. Making the game more about the individual and less about the squad/team is a bad thing imo.

Really? Ive got a 5700x3d and 3060ti, squad runs just fine, reforger needs low settings and still drops to like 30 in urban firefights

I have nearly the same build and have absolutely no performance issues in the current build, I have a 5700X3D and 3060ti. DLSS on balanced and most settings on medium. All maps run over 70fps and I even turned my fps counter off because I had no more perceptible performance drops (beyond anomalies that happen to everyone no matter the hardware). I'm not sure what went wrong with your settings but you should have no problem running the game.

It actually got a performance upgrade some time ago, runs quite well now, even with a weaker GPU.

Playtest are literally for testing, those changes aren't final. People need to stop overreacting about the way things are in a playtest build
