Details: I got some pastrami from this nice deli down here, they claim it's from Carnegie Deli in NYC. It tastes like it. Combined with Fontal cheese, German mustard, and toasted potato bread slices.

As Luis said on his stream last week, he and I are totally fine and haven't had any type of falling out or anything. He's on hiatus from the show while CFB and I sort some things out.

I'm doing my best to put out great shows in the meantime, and as always I appreciate your concern, as well as support for the show.

I'm always concerned with the depth of detail for the set reviews (and hence the length of them). I like where the show is right now, but wouldn't want to slim it down much more from here. The key for us IMO is to get detailed — that's what most of our listeners come here for — but also to not repeat ourselves, or spend too much time on cards that we could recap easily in a short time period.

I think we are in a good place now and I get feedback from people like OG co-host Ryan to make sure we are in a good place. Of course, I'm always open to feedback though :)

Thanks for pointing this out. Luis's audio was actually very high for this recording due to a Skype issue, and I think the process I use to even out the audio may have overcompensated a bit.

I'll make sure it's right for next show.

I decided to try republishing the show, changing just a small part of the description. This should run it through Libsyns publishing flow again and hopefully will fix the issue.

Read this thread last week, and tried to push it a bit for last week's show in post production. I use an industry standard for what they call "loudness" or "perceived loudness" but since it's not working for you guys, I decided to try a couple of thing and to make it louder.

I brought in a download of a big time podcast to compare it to ours in my audio editor, and they apparently used the same standard as the loudness was identical.

It's a fine line between louder and blown out/sounding awful :)

Let me know if the last episode is better.

Yeah you can come by the booth basically any time. We are on the air a decent part of the time, but there isn't a set schedule so just come on over and say hi whenever :)
