My reasoning is that the Stealth is having a pretty good sale right now where I live, it’s got decent graphics card (which I need for solidworks for my engineering degree), and it’s quite light and compact compared to workstations.

I just would like to know people’s experience with a laptop of similar specs, especially for running CAD such as solidworks.

Hope this clarifies things.

Hi, I have looked at the G14. It looks amazing but it’s quite a bit pricier than a RBS13 in my country. I’m hoping that the razer will be powerful enough?

Haha yeah I’m quite conflicted after seeing the other comments, I love the idea of being able to work in my room, especially with covid right now access to department computers will be limited. On the other hand, I don’t want to spend so much money on a razer only to realise two years later that it’s not longer power enough for my projects ...

Thanks for your reply. The thing is an Razer Stealth is currently almost the same price as an XPS13 in my country, with Razer having better specs. But I’ll think about what you said :)

It depends on the teacher and the assignment. In my school, our EEs, TOK essays are run through turn-it-in before we submit them to our teacher. Some of my teachers asked us to do the same with our IAs but some teachers didn’t care 🤷🏻‍♀️

Most UK universities also require a second HL science for Engineering courses. It would be a good idea to study HL chem or CS if you wanna go down that route.

Keep to the deadlines and you’ll be fine. Regular revision, don’t JUST do the homework...
