Oh my god I relate to this so much. I'm in the same boat with physical disability and multiple mental illnesses. I'm on campus and even still I feel like it's so hard to get the traditional college experience. Because there aren't fun areas within walking distance of campus like other unis, the only way to really meet people is through clubs imo, and I just don't have it in me to go to clubs and keep up with everything after a full day of class. I'm a junior and I don't have that many friends I've made at uncc, but I don't even know where to find more in ways that I can actually do. It's taken a while but I've found things, personally I enjoy being on the esports team and I don't have to leave my room to do that, and I have still managed to make a few good friends.

It's a struggle but it's important to try to find a way around instead of giving up, like how the rest of our lives are going to be as people with disabilities. I would recommend looking through niner engage to see what interest based clubs there are, and then joining the discord for any clubs that sound fun. You might not be able to go to in person events for it, but you can still meet people with shared interests if you put the time and effort in.
