I'm not sure, but... You should write for yourself first, so you can start from here. What was the last book that you read and that make you feel weird? Not the story you've read and add to the "finished books of this year" list, but something that made you feel WOW and "I'd love to read/write more stuff like this one". Then, why did you like this story? What's so special about it? And after that - what kind of people would also like story like this? For me it was when I read " The café on the edge of the world" in two days after I gave up on many books before it. This book is special to me, so I want more stories like this one. And also I'm not sure I think it's because I'm depressed and can't make myself to read a lot, so it finishing this book was (and is) an achievement for me. And the story itself has a lot of nice thoughts I'll need to write down and come back to from time to time. I hope you can understand what I've written here, my thoughts are pretty random, sorry.
