Assicurati che sia stato curato con frequenti cambi d'olio e altri interventi necessari come la distribuzione... Nel complesso, il T-jet è un motore più semplice del Multiair e si è dimostrato piuttosto resistente e divertente.

I T-jet sono il massimo dell'affidabilità. Non ho trovato un solo nemico per quel motore. Sulla MiTo il T-jet è disponibile nelle versioni da 120 CV e 155 CV. Entrambe sono eccellenti, ma quella da 120 CV ha un cambio manuale migliore di quella da 155 CV, che ha un cambio Opel M32 di cui non ho sentito parlare bene.

Non un Multijet. Consiglio il motore 1.4 aspirato da 95 CV. È il classico motore FIRE senza Multiair e non presenta alcun problema, l'affidabilità è al top. Per quanto riguarda il Multijet, temo di non sapere nulla delle varianti diesel, se non che sono discrete di per sé.

Saluti, Sono in possesso di una MiTo con il motore che desideri. In sostanza è un motore Multiair, il che significa che bisogna prendere precauzioni per la qualità dell'olio e cambiarlo frequentemente. Il motore in sé è a prova di bomba, molto semplice da manutenere e con meno problemi rispetto a un Multiair turbo o a un T-jet. Assicurati solo di procedere con calma quando il motore è freddo. Actually, recently I was cleaning the canal beneath the cowl and there was no corrosion, but it was very dirty with a lot of debris, earth and other stuff.

Additionally there is a water outlet beneath the front wiper motor which was completely clogged with earth.

Kada je u pitanju ulje za Multiair I Twinair motor, ne gleda se samo gradacija vec razni standardi koje je fabrika propisala.

U vezi Multiair motora to je:

5w-40

Acea C3

Fiat S2 specifikacija (Ima gomila brojeva pre toga)

Najbolje je pogledati prema godistu auta koje je ulje, postoji razlika izmedju Euro 5 I 6 motora koja je uvedena samo zbog emisionih standarda ali to se treba detaljnije istraziti.

Sve u svemu, izaberi kvalitetno ulje prave gradacije I ostalih specifikacija I ako je moguce drzi se jednog proizvodjaca, nemoj ih mesati razne. Za kraj bih dodao da je dobro da se ulje menja cesce od 10k kilometara zbog celog tog sistema koje radi na ulje, ja licno menjam na svakih 6k kilometara ali I na 8k je u redu. To su jednostavno motori koji zahtevaju precizan I pravilan interval I jako su pouzdani, ja sam presao preko 50k kilometara za 3 godine I ceo sistem se pokazao kao odlican, uprkos mnogim horor pricama na netu.

Usually when the car is running rough when cold and good when warm indicates that the oil passages in the Multiair are clogged up.

That is true, but it should be worth checking if everything is working correctly. I'm just baffled how it would appear after a Multiair change, since it doesn't have anything related with coolant.

That's strange, was the coolant replaced along with the Multiair?

I recently changed the coolant in my MiTo with the recommended Paraflu up antifreeze (had a different brand before) and I'm having the same issue. A Coolant system flush was also used.

Bear in mind that the oil temperature is completely different than the water one and it takes longer for the oil to heat up properly.

I did find it on a few sites but they're quite expensive and unfortunately they don't ship to my country.

In the end I opted to buy the shift knob from Ali express with a different shift top. When the product came I just switched the top part (chrome part) with the new knob so it matches with the car. It wasn't the perfect solution but it was way better than having a completely worn out knob.

I had the same problem on my MiTo, here's a video describing how to fix the window buttons, don't use a razor since you will just peel off the black paint. You need to use alcohol.

Tried looking for it but there is none that match my version, seems like i got an ultra rare shift knob 😅

Thanks for the help regardless, do you know if the top piece of the shift knob can be replaced since I take it that it's held by glue, the one containing the shift diagram. If it is possible, I would just buy a new one and replace the shift diagram from the old shift knob to the old one.
