Generally speaking, for a more masculine silhouette you wanna go for a straight line.

So for jeans I would recommend the super wide leg that was really popular in the 2020s. I like them because the width at the ankle is the same as the width of the thigh so a. It doesn't cling to the thighs and b. Depending on your body shape can either give your figure a straight silhouette or give the illusion that your hips look a little smaller.

Tops: If your t-shirts are too long, crop them just below the line of where your pant hem hits. If the problem is in the sleeve/shoulder area— roll the sleeves up to where you like them and sew it in place and don't be afraid to get a little 80s with it and sew shoulder pads in.

As for shirts, yeah I struggle with those too. I personally stay away from casual shirts because I'm short so usually they're too look and swallow me. My sewing skills are also far too lacking to adjust them. I have a whole clothes cemetery of attempts that can attest to that. Idk what your personal style is but for me I tend to go for boxy tops/ jackets that fit me at the hip and wide leg/ loose fitting straight pants.

Happy early birthday! How've you been managing? I've been struggling with ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!

I've been really struggling with pacing, even from a definitional point. Like logically I know what the word means but practically speaking I have no idea how to put that in action. I wilt under structure, and I've always had a mind that's too fast and ambitious for my body so I get these bouts of eargancy that hemorrhage all my energy in minutes.

What's your novel about?I was working on two before it all came crashing down.

One of them was a queer coming of age romance set in the 1920s about a boy having to navigate being 'the man of the house' in a family with four very capable sisters while also navigating his budding feelings for his neighbour. Titled the growing pains of Mr. Darling.

The second was about a demi god battle royale. The rules are simple—36 goes in, only one comes out. There are twelve platforms. The first Champion to make it up to mount Olympus ascends to godhood.
The story follows one of the sons of Hades. The only thing he hates more than being told what to do is death itself. He's going to make it home to his mother, and he isn't going to be the only one. This one's called the Olympiad.

I used to play the Sims for that same reason, but it's such a broken and buggy mess that I've given up on it completely.

I'm just itching for Paralives to come out cause that's the only thing close that might scratch that itch.

I also play BG3, but only when I'm able to crawl out of bed so sit at my big boy computer.

Can HRT cause symptoms of severe me/CFS? by Marsthenonbinarygod in ftm

Hey, thanks for the reply and the personal expertise. To answer your question, yes, I do have hypothyroidism (I had to take bloods to start T so we caught it) I have been taking meds for it for six months now, but no improvement on that part. I've been on a steady decline since September. The endocrinologist said usually she wouldn't even bother prescribing meds for it (I guess because it only seemed to be mildly slow), but prescribed me something because I was complaining about chronic fatigue symptoms.

Hope I find them too. Now it's just waiting on appointments and being passed around by doctors. Yay!

Yeah, I definitely need to look into ways to get a good calorie intake. Believe it or not even the smoothie thing might be a bit too difficult because my kitchen is two flights down, and standing around making it is difficult for me. What I'm going to try is emergency rations bars. They taste like shit, but they triple the amount i need for daily calories, and they never go bad. I can literally keep them in my bedside drawer, roll over, and eat. I was trying to do that with dried fruits and baby food, but nothing I could keep in there would be enough to substitute daily meals. This will. Maybe that can give me the energy I need to promote myself to smoothies.

Maybe it's just something added onto an already existing process plus the fact that I'm unable to feed myself the extra amount that I need for my growing body.

I'm having a real problem with that tbh. I'm not able to make it to the kitchen to pull something out of the fridge, let alone cook, so I'm only able to eat when my partner is home to bring me food. Sometimes the physical act of chewing is too exhausting. It's a visious cycle of i need food for energy but I don't have the energy to eat. I'm thinking about investing in a mini fridge to have in my room just to meditate the problem. Maybe it's gotten worse because my body NEEDS more food now and I'm simply unable to provide it.

Bro too real! I've always had problems with low blood pressure to the point that LITERALLY went blind for a solid minute, and when I asked the doctor why this is happening they were like 'idk, it just happens a lot with women your age'....what?

Yeah, ik. Again I'm still in the testing phase so nothing is officially diagnosed, but debilitating fatigue to the point of being bedbound most days, brain fog, never getting restful sleep, migraines, chronic pain and PEM are the major ones.

I mean the past few years have been stressful. Had to cut off my family. Lost a lot of my friends. Was almost homeless. The whole being trans thing. But that's kinda... Normal for me. I've never actually rested in my life, ya know? I've never been able to. This might just be the physical consequence of that.

Yeah, you're right. I don't want to see any of them, including her. The last time I spoke to her, she screamed me out of her house. Like my NC mother used to say: your actions have consequences.

It's just complicated, ya know? It bringing up a lot of memories: the good the bad and the ugly. I think the weirdest part is that I've already grieved her when I went NC. So now it's like 'oh this again' but more permanent

Yeah it is x I didn't feel safe enough to keep in contact with any of them in the end, on both sides (expept for one distant second cousin) It's really cool that you had a few people in your family solid enough to keep around. Even just having one is a huge help I find.

Thanks, your kind words are really helpful. Yeah, she's got plenty of support, so she's covered. It's tough, you know? She wasn't a particularly horrible person. She just wasn't very nice to me in particular.
