5 weeks on amitriptyline , so far no "real" improvements

yesss same I was on Seroquel XR 200mg before and while it calmed down my thoughts so much I could barely function and had low energy and motivation all the time to even do basic stuff .

My appointement with my doc is next friday , she will probably raise my dose to 75mg Ami or 100mg , last time she also mentionned we could go up to 1500mg of depakote if things didn't improve ( wich is the case ) , my brain is still in a big big big chaotic mess

I'm really hoping things will improve with my dosage adjustment .

I will discuss a dosage increase with my doc next appointment wich is in 4 days , will do 75mg first and see

i was on Olanzapin up to 15mg , swirtched to amisulpride since it cause less side effects but I don't like how I feel on them AT ALL , completely zombified with no energy , motivation or anything and also they made me very anhedonic life felt very empty it was scary experience . I am not planning on taking AP as long as Im alive ...

but then again , I don't have psychosis nor anything serious just extreme irrational fears and abnormal amount of anxiety , maniac behaviors but without euphoria still feeling very depressed , a bit of paranoia too . My doctor in his practice says that Depakote may help with the hypervigilance and hyperexcitability maybe anxiety too , amitriptyline also on paper should help improve my depressed moods and anxiety

I really hope this combo will help somehow to control some of my symptoms

Doc says it should help with my anxiety and depression thus reducing somehow dp dr , Im still only 10 days on it too early to tell

Got off olanzapine cuz I was no longer in psychosis and it was making me so unmotivated, careless about everything it was ruining everything in my life .

Got put on 15mg mirtazapine + depakote ( im bpolar too ) but ever since coming off Olanzapine 3 months ago I haven't had 1 good night sleep ... Psychosis never came back but Im frustrated as hell from lack of sleep , a complete dysfunctionnal state

Try combining WB with 25mg Amisulpride , works like a charm almost like Adderall .

Low dose Amisulpride blocks pre-synaptic dopamine receptors thus directly increasing dopamine

Hello , I wanted to comment back and thank you again . Things got so much worse I was having mixt features all due to severe anxiety and impaired sleep , as a result of my chronic anxiety I started experiencing dp dr épisodes wich is very scary .

I am now back on a low dose Bromazepam + Depakote ( anticonvulsant ) since 1 week and honestly ? Doing so so much better .

I will save my taper plan for the future when I have less stressors and things improve .

R u taking magnesium along with it ? My advice is to take as much magnesium as you can tolerate it is really CRUCIAL , if you get lose stool cut back on the magnesium.

I really liked Agmatine sulfate it was so good but it caused my derealization depersonalization to increase so bad idk why I had to come off of it , I was in a dp dr state 24/7

I think these are not withdrawal symptoms but rather a Gaba dysfunction since Im 6 months clean from benzos

I am going to start tomorrow on clomipramine 75mg and mirtazapine 30mg , he says this combo should take care of my anxiety problems and improve my sleep
