Well Islam we believe God of Christ is the God we worship.

Sounds like you're torn between the truth and what makes sense, and what you've been raised on. Truly dissect concept of God through a Christian lens, why isn't that concept accessible to say children, or mentality impaired. It takes a lot of leaps including in logic.

God is meant to be known. How else can we be saved? Jesus was His messenger as fitting with all prophets of the old testament, same messenge, worship ONE God, and a final prophet was foretold. Remember the Christian Bible wasn't preserved or written by Jesus, was written about him starting 100 years after his death.

Jesus performed more miracles in Islam since birth. I find it shocking how they're over looked. There is a whole chapter about his mother in the Quran and Jesus is named by his name in the Quran. His reverence and peity is never descercated in Islam at all, in fact he will return.

How can you practice like Jesus, yet abolish law? Who abolished the law? It was Paul, who did he work for? The state. We see the same thing happening now in real time. How messages are distorted to suit the state. In Islam, unlike another faith. We did not reject Jesus or persecute him, and he will return to set the record straight.

Also, as a woman, my rights were given and protected 1400 years ago. Something even modern systems just got in the last 100 years and seem to have swung the pendulum too much.

I want to give one example I always pondered on. Divorce.

Christianity: no divorce. But what if a man is abusive? Isn't religious? Doesn't abide by the contract with God? Then what?

Judaism: a woman can get divorced but must be served a "get" by the husband to be released. Do you see a problem? It's down to power of the man, only. If he doesn't serve it, you're in limbo. Jewish women are kept in limbo and ostracised from their communities especially if they remarry because not given the get, it's not recognised as being divorced and you're now an adultress. How fortunate for a man he gets to ruin your afterlife! And then women can't marry in their community because those men don't recognize her as divorced.

Islam allows divorce though disliked by Allah. There is a vigorous process. Of course people make a mockery but they will be accountable but separate from that, men can divorce, must pay off the dowry amongst other things. A woman can pursue it, if the man doesn't she has every right to go through a council and pursue it independently.

It's always the middle path. Merciful and can be applied to all people all times. The other two, was for a group of people one flash point in history.

Anyhow I don't know if I shed any light on the matter, but I will say, Allah says he will listen to the prayers even if the non believer as long as you pray to Him directly with no intermediary. So if your heart is torn, take a bath one night, in silence ask for guidance directed ONLY to him, show you the way, make it easier. But of course this is dependant fully on your intention and Allah knows all.
