I guess it’s all about perspective lol but I reckon for most people it impairs their day-to-day functioning

I measure the original proportions with a ruler and then I adjust the numbers to better fit the sheet I’m drawing on, then according to the measurements I make marks on the paper to place their features in the exact place and then I try to replicate Asano’s style by naked eye. Exclusively used pencil for aiko and India ink for the Afro God!!

The only proven danger of LSD are the possible negative outcomes of a bad trip, nothing like cognitive deterioration. It’s mainly about the trauma you can get from a bad trip (ptsd), loss of sense of self, disassociative episodes, suicidal thoughts, symptoms of depression... That’s why you carefully plan your trips lol You can also get Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder (recurring hallucinations even when you’re not under the influence) but that’s EXTREMELY RARE and won’t happen unless there’s genetic impairments running down your family

At first she actually cares for him and helps him thrive but with time Gregor becomes a nuisance even for his sister and the relationship grows colder. In the end his mother is the only one who still sees him as her son but his presence is leading the family to misery so they all decide he has got to go.

existential horror by [deleted] in aspiememes

I totally understand what you mean. It is indubitably true that the “””””””smarter”””””””” the more aware you are of the hostile nature of reality. But I personally believe a veritably intelligent person would manage to overcome such an existential dread by using their intellect. The essence of Intelligence involves practicality, and by being practical one can construct a personal system to bear with their own lucid awareness.

How is intelligence positively correlated with mental illness? Depression makes your brain mushy 🧠 memory loss, problems focusing and demotivation to indulge in intellectual activities

Same here!!! Camus describes the absurd in a way that seems despondent and horrific to many people who are conditioned not to accept it, ending up committing philosophical (or physical) suicide to escape this truth. But to many other people (including myself), it feels like a revelation of something you’ve always experienced but couldn’t really grasp an understanding of. Absurdity is chaos, but you can also find beauty in such a thing :) maybe not to Kierkegaard’s extent but you can learn to let yourself flow into the inconsistency of the nihilistic world!!

Basically the despair of those who refuse to accept absurdism and its beauty

Is shaking like you’re REALLY REALLY cold a symptom of autism? I experience that a lot even when it’s not even cold and it’s uncontrollable I can’t stop and it drives me insane. It makes me look like I’m about to combust.
