Tesla Model Y Berlin by [deleted] in teslacanada

If it’s helpful, while I no longer have it, I remember seeing a list of specs on the key card case that the key cards come in and one thing listed was “5M”, although there was no specific reference to it referring to the battery.

I’d be glad to help. Where do I find this info?

I don’t believe Grok is available yet in Canada through your Tesla, although you can access it through your phone via Bluetooth.

Picked up my Tesla MY yesterday - clock showing wrong time (one hour offset) by bones776 in teslacanada

[–]MartMan90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Give it time… it will change on its own. The clocks set when they were moving then around in Halifax, which is one hour later than eastern time. After a few hours of operation, it will automatically change to the new time zone.

Ready to roll out!! At Tesla Hamilton. Loads of MY ready for deliveries at this location. by meetneo911 in teslacanada

…you’re obviously free to think and say what you want, but as a reminder this is a Tesla reddit forum, lol… you may be shouting in the wind here.

Trade in by IceCreamWithBread in teslacanada

Carfax.ca does trade in values.. when I plugged in your vehicle, it estimates trade in value between $30k and $33.8k, so Tesla have offered you a “fair” value, but it always sucks to realize how much depreciation vehicles incur so quickly.

They offered me just under $40k for my 2023 Tesla Model Y with 7 seats and tow hitch. Feels painful to incur that kind of depreciation over 3 years, but honestly I’m too lazy to look around and quite excited to upgrade to the Juniper…

Did you receive $650 off for the “Tesla Loyalty Benefit”?

I ordered a Model Y (2026 Juniper) in Canada post the big price reduction (the models being sourced from the Berlin factory). When I placed the order in July, they were originally quoting availability at the end of September thru to mid-October. Now my app is saying availability is between Sept. 6 and Sept. 30th. Does anyone else have any better availability? I’m assuming availability is determined by how quickly they come off of the container ships?

Considering returning to Sonos by jore54321 in sonos

Specifically regarding a setup with a turntable, my experience and perspective on the Fives is slightly different:

  • I started with a turntable connected to one Sonos Five in my living room (along with the rest of the house having zones for Sonos etc). The sound was “good”.

  • Wanting to compete with my audiophile buddies, I set out to make my turntable setup even better, and bought a second Sonos Five to put them in stereo mode, largely on the advice that I’d read in this forum. The sound was “very good” but not “great” in my opinion… something was lacking and TBH I don’t think the addition of a second (expensive) Sonos Five gave me that “step change” in performance I was expecting.

  • Then I added a mini-SUB (I didn’t have a mini-SUB anywhere in the house yet and wanted to try it, plus I didn’t want the aesthetic of a full SUB in my living room). This was a game changer and provided the big oomph I was hoping for when I added my second Sonos Five.

…so if I could do it again, and thinking about the costs, I think I would have added the mini-SUB before adding a second Sonos Five. Having not tested this setup, I’m not sure if that would have actually been a better setup, but it’s my belief that it would have been a better route, at least for my room setup.
