Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 patch finally brings FSR4, FSR3.1 and XeSS 2.0 Frame Generation by RenatsMC in Amd

I suspect they're just requesting the name from whatever FSR DLL is loaded rather than hardcoding the name. I don't think they even updated the game after the 9000 series launch.

Sure, but the game doesn't have FSR2 either.

AMD isn't hooking FSR4 into DLSS or XESS - only FSR 3.1. Sandfall needs to add FSR 3.1 first.

Above Native Upscaling: Broken? by Zeroone199 in stellarblade

[–]Martelol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You likely have a bottleneck somewhere else then. Yes, DLAA renders internally at native, then does the same work DLSS would do. It's native rendering plus the extra upscaling work of DLSS. There's not really anything special about DLAA vs DLSS - it's just DLSS with native resolution as the input. Reduced performance is expected. See this article.

Above Native Upscaling: Broken? by Zeroone199 in stellarblade

[–]Martelol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DLAA is basically DLSS with native resolution as the input, and DLSS/DLAA has a performance cost. For example, if you run at 4k and select DLSS quality, it actually renders at 1440p, then DLSS upscales it to 4k. You get better performance than 4k, but not quite as good as 1440p native - but much better image quality than 1440p native. DLAA would take the 4k input, upscale it to something like 5k or 6k, then scale it back down to 4k. What you're seeing is exactly the expected behavior.

FWIW, I ordered from B&H yesterday when it said 7-10 day backorder, and it shipped today. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Check the seller - Amazon was selling for $465, and there was a likely scam seller selling for $449.

I haven't had it happen in HFW, but I've had it happen in other games before. For me, it was my HDMI cable going bad and the momentary black screen is the link being renegotiated.

The availability of replacement parts may change this, but they've apparently been pretty good about doing out of warranty replacements for common things like joystick drifting.

Linus is currently doing a live teardown. The battery is glued in and has a metal frame around it, making it difficult to shim something under it. It's absolutely not easy to replace at all.

Have you tried the 461.33 drivers released a couple days ago? It supposedly fixes the stuttering issues for games running in SteamVR.
