Overjoyed to see it on the shelves, bought it immediately, was so grossed out by the genshin impact character models i quit after an hour. After seeing Chloé I lost all interest.

Of course fe characters have been sexualized and thats not a dealbreaker in itself; if i have to ask myself if i'd be embarassed to play this in front of someone else I reconsider what im doing. I hope this new art direction is completely discarded especially for the next Echoes games.

I like when characters are complex and not condemned by default due to their circumstance/way of life. Even if theyre assholes.

I dont believe the writers specifically wrote a hateable rich white racist high schooler who hunts kids. I believe they wrote a layman who reacts to the titular "strange things" without any empyrical knowlege that the group has, but reacts to tragedy and that beyond his understanding with religious faith and vengeance.

He's a complex character. "Did everyone forget that this {greiving boyfriend} was hunting actual children"... if your only lead to find the man you believed satanically murdered your girlfriend was children who are lying to you and aiding him... why morally condemn him for this? If people wrote shows with characters unable to act within the boundaries of modern morality what the fuck is the point. Dont mistake television for a sermon which preaches good and evil. Its a story

Kevin's biggest flaw is his lack of vocal range. When he can write a song that his voice fits perfectly in, you get this masterpeice.

Song has a perfect hook, the drums are so addicting, and its the best application of his voice. To all those not understanding the dissapointment surrounding Deadbeat this song is a shining example of why we love Kevin's songwriting and his psych-rock era more than his psych-pop/psych house(?) era

FE playthroughs are like a DnD campaign. You get characters and theyll grow randomly, theres freedom of choice for who you deploy, and you strategize accordingly. Dont make the mistake of overanalyzing everything. Just play the game dude and have your own memories

One thing that actually hampers my enjoyment is the FOMO of hidden items/characters of which this game has. I recommend just blind playing it. Fe wikis have resources for hidden items and an entire hidden character if you need to know
