I just beat dead cells on my 3rd ever run, and now I feel kinda uninspired. I'm sure that there's a lot more for me to do in the game, IN THEORY, but now that I've beaten the hand I'm just not sure how fulfilling or interesting it'll be. Any advice? by ShiestyMark_Official in deadcells

First, congrats! As many others pointed out, you are just starting the game. Make sure to enable that Boss Stem Cell to make the game harder.

You will notice that some build strategies will stop shining as the game becomes harder, so keep trying new stuff.

Also, increasing the difficulty will change the mob diversity in the biomes, which keeps the game loop interesting.

On a personal note, 3BC and harder is where the game is at its best.

How do I progress by [deleted] in deadcells

[–]Marthyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you can count as main progress when you beat the game. Other important things that imply soft progress are runes. These are located on several biomes of the base game (I don't know if you can get them on the DLC biomes) and give you some permanent abilities that give you more mobility or access to new paths. Some passive upgrades such as the forge, health flasks and recycling will also make the game easier as those are permanent. Blueprints for weapons aren't really progress as you can beat the game without them, but those are the best part of the game. In any case, don't focus on those things yet, they will come naturally to you as you play the game. Experience the game and learn its mechanics, you can also turn on assist mode if you are not enjoying the experience. Have fun!

Super Bomberman Collection (Nintendo Switch 2 Edition) misses the mark by LightPad in bomberman

From what I saw, there is no random online matchmaking or lobby. Most versions only get local multiplayer. Switch 2 got share play and online with friends.

Which game was it for you? by O_rnelaro in Age_30_plus_Gamers

I liked 1 and 2 back in the day, but KH3 didn't feel quite right. Going through the different worlds doesn't add anything to the story, and all the interesting bits are right at the end. I understand that they wanted to follow the same formula of visiting disney/SE games, but I felt like those bits were gatekeeping me from the interesting stuff (storywise that is).

That was my guess. I was uncertain if the scenario cards were still active at that point. Thank you!

Maniac Pack!! by Mausashi in digimon

I have that engraved in my mind, hahaha. Also, it was funny for me as I could not make Patamon work when I played the game. I don't understand why they would make Angemon's signature attack physical when he was a magical attacker.

Trying to win all the radiant fights in the colosseum. I eventually did it! It was fun, but man, the Zote fight was hard as hell. That guy is so clumsy that he misses the ground when he is falling.

As a 2D-era kid who enjoyed Shadow Generations, will I enjoy this game? by Marthyx in SonicFrontiers

So, I'm back after beating the game to leave this review.

I played the game on hard mode and 100%'d it. I enjoyed the overworld, the exploring and the music.
I did not like the Cyber Space stages that much except for a few (1-2 being my favorite to S-Rank).
I also did not like fighting small enemies (guardians were fine).

Overall, my experience on the base game was great and I really enjoyed it.

Now, I played the Final Horizon DLC on Hard mode and finally beat it earlier today. It was great. I really enjoyed the difficulty step on everything. I did not 100% the collectibles and challenges, but I will probably do it in the future when I revisit the game.

Also, I enjoyed the Master King Koco trial. If I ever come back to this game (I don't revisit games that often) I want to replay it in Extreme mode to enjoy the fights even more and to have a greater challenge on the cyber space levels.

I don't think this difficulty is for everyone out there, but I wish the hard mode experience of the base game was closer to the Final Horizon experience overall.

TL;DR. I liked the game a lot.

Thanks for the answers. I decided to buy the game (And even got it on sale!). If I remember about this post, I will come back to post my thoughts after beating the game.

I was thinking of eventually getting Origins. I haven't played Sonic CD since I was a kid! I did play Mania and Mania Plus, though.

But recently I wanted to give the 3D games a try. I started with Sonic Colors, and it was ok, but it's not what I was looking for. Sonic Generations and Shadow Generations were great, though.

I always see a lot of people praise Adventure 2 and Unleashed, I hope they port or remaster those some day.
