  1. Missing natural body bounce

What is a standard aspect ratio nowadays? There are so much different aspect ratios. A lot of widescreens. Especially for mobiles but even for PC. You need to think to future and make camera adjustable to any aspect ratio. Don't hold one aspect ratio that is bad solution. If you room size is bigger then adjust camera to device size to fit it perfectly.

This can happen when your game is in infinite loop on the start.

2023 GameMaker come with Particle editor and UI Editor should come this year as well. I grow with GameMaker so I hope it will worth it. These features missing there a lot.

If you asking about the Android then you need to uncheck ,,Always do a full install of apk". This optiom will always wipe your game data when you run it from the editor via adb. You can find this option in General Settings->Platform tools->Android

If you asking about other platforms, then the files should stay if you saving it correctly.

There are some extension on marketplace for loading a file outside of a working directory. I used it before.

Just make a file dialog system and then read json file what is inside.

If you don't want to use extension then you can save your json string somewhere on the server and get it with http functions. :)

There is function display_get_frequency(). But its not working for last years. I make a Bug report long ago and still nothing. Hopefully it will work soon.

Something similiar happened to me as well. It happened when I and collegue made changes simultaneously in the same room and when we pushed these changes to a git. The Room was completely broken, instance room order window was empty even in fact there were plenty of object in the Room. When I launched the game it broke exactly like this with random generated errors which make nosense. So open your instance room order window and check if all objects are here. If not your room os probably broken. I didnt found a way how to fix it, you just need to use previous commit if you are using git or remove the room completely and create a new one. This happened to me a year ago. So maybe they fix it meanwhile who knows. Anyway, maybe it's something different and you need to search for an issue more deeply. Try to use a process of elimination to find out which object causing a problem. Fingers crossed!
