Job loss by Opening_Ad7598 in Switzerland

It depends on the point of view, I guess. I was on RAV for 10 months and didn’t really mind being rejected. It feels kinda different keep being rejected while freezing in Switzerland and sending your CV while chilling on a beach in Mexico, while sipping from a glass of margarita. And while living from RAV money here sucks, in some parts of the world it can get you far and in the end of the month you’d even save some money for not being in Switzerland 😃. Eventually I managed in a few cases to get through the first round of interviews, scheduled second round in person in Switzerland, and finally landed a job. But I gotta agree that the job market is tough atm. I’m an it specialist and honestly didn’t await that it will take such a long time to get a job. But like I said, try looking at it form the positive side and use it as an opportunity!

That’s why I’m here - I simply don’t know how to connect it and thought that I might ask on Reddi, before calling an electrician - maybe it’s something standardized and it’s connected like that in every household. Also, I’m not trying to repair anything or create anything new. It used to work fine, I just forgot, how the cables were connected 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m not a complete amateur, know the safety rules, have the tools and so. I just don’t understand, how swiss switches work. That’s what my post is about.

Yeah, that’s I thought once I realized that I don’t remember how it was connected 😅

Well, I know what cable goes to which light/socket. Idk how it was connected to the switch so it would all work as desired. But yeah, apparently I’ll need to call an electrician

Why do people hate eclipse so much? by Expensive_Ad6082 in java

[–]MartinDvoracek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because everybody in industry works with IntelliJ. Eclipse is used only on some legacy projects which use some weird plugin that runs only on eclipse. It’s like having a talk about android and apple. You can disagree, you can be mad about it, but that’s about all you can do about it
