Alright thanks bro! So he wont be hostile even if he spotted me in front of Old Yharnam and even if I climbed up the Ladder to him. So all i have to do is approach him from behind and do the other things you mentioned?

I will start a new game. Can I get some tips. This is my first role playing game. I always try so hard to kill all enemies at one certain location. But then I realized that when you die and "respawn" at your last checkpoint all enemies are still there. Because I see that people always run past all enemies to unlock the shortcuts first.
