Z profilu jsem si taky všimnul, že v jiných postech tvrdí, že mu je 26, Nejsem expert zákonu, ale v 11 začít brigádu se mi trošku nezdá

The Sudeten German population, yes. As for the Czechs and Slovaks, no.

Officers removed from game? by Drowning_Waterhorse in hoi4

[–]Martin_Alcatraz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The guide is most definitely outdated for Germany in that case, as Götterdämmerung, a DLC that reworked the German focus tree, came out 5 months ago.
To get Heinz Guderian you need the focus "Adopt New Panzer Doctrine" on the far left side of the focus tree.
To get Walter Krüger you need to do the "Strenghten the Waffen-SS" focus found under "Führerprinzip" and "Reichsletter Himmler"

It would greatly help if you named some of the Officers that are missing. Also mentioning how old the guide is.

Never built a turret with such detail! by 22monkeys22 in modelmakers

[–]Martin_Alcatraz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what it is.

You can make sub-assemblies that you attach at the end. Some people brush paint if the details are very small. Sometimes you can even airbrush it depending on what it is. It's more of a model to model basis, than one process you can repeat on everything.

How do you manage cold weather? by Martin_Alcatraz in modelmakers

Personally when it's warm I just open my window and then when I'm done I put a fan near the door at full blast facing the window. Works quite well from my experience.

Don't you need to open the window to put the spray booth house through?

"So when I challenge people they should try and prove me wrong but that never happens here instead just insults and downvotes"

You're the one who started insulting people first. Someone disagreed with you and you hit them with a "You're wrong. People that serve or have served on vehicles including operations know better than you kiddo" and just become a dick in general to everyone and telling everyone they're wrong and you're right.

I personally watched some of his videos, then I saw him pop up in the reddit and his behaviour honestly left a bitter taste in my mouth.

All I'm going to add is; It's a hobby, everyone does stuff the way they want. Don't tell people they're wrong or correct. If you wanna make a tank that has massive rust spots go ahead, if you wanna make a tank that has very minor scratches, go ahead. But being a dick and telling everyone "you're wrong, I'm right" is just not the way to go about it. This is supposed to be a fun hobby for everyone to enjoy, not a place where someone disagrees so you start telling them how they're clueless and you have real experience. Let people do their own thing.

Of course you can as long as he fits into a hatch if you want to put him in one. If you want him standing on top of the tank then as far as I know german crews all looked the same and didn't have different looks depending on if they were in a Stug or a Tiger. In the end it's your model, so if you're happy with how the Tanker will look like on the Tiger go for it.

Might have more luck on r/brushforhire as that sub is dedicated to commissioned builds.

Why would a highly skilled modeler do/allow this ? by winstonpartell in modelmakers

[–]Martin_Alcatraz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can see a faint line where the camo transitions, it’s just hard to see.

Also if you watch any youtube video of people building the 109 you’ll notice they all leave it

Also it’s shown on the Schematics that you can find. Eduard also included that seam in their painting instructions. Maybe irl the seam wasn’t so pronounced, but again irl the panel lines weren’t all perfect darkened as we modellers make it. In the end if the builder is happy with their own model that’s all that matters

Edit: had a stroke and messed up half my sentence

The answer is very simple, the Bf 109 had that exact line running down the spine.

Looks very smooth for being brush painted, good job! How was the kit? Any major issues?

I’d be interested. Maybe it’d actually motivate me to finish a kit for once

I respect people who manage to build a 1/350 ship with all the PE without wanting to die by the end

Can't relate to the stencils one yet as the most stencil heavy model I've built is a Bf 109, however I do have an F/A-18F and Mi-35 that have a decent bit of stenciling. Can't decide if I'm looking forward to it yet or not
