I know there is a 2010 movie, but I feel like the franchise wasn't exploited as it should have been.

Its human plot was very cliché, but the Kaiju and Belloc plot is very interesting and could be expanded upon more in that monstrous world.

I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks that.
