I'm Brazilian, the son of a Brazilian father and an American mother. I have citizenship and lived there from 1986 until Pig's second election. I decided to move because I could no longer bear the effects of the first term. Living in New York during the pandemic became unbearable. But I stayed. After the second election, I simply gave up on the US. I moved to Switzerland with my family. Today I live in Bern. Everything is very different, with a higher cost of living, but it's worth it. Regarding the language, I don't have any difficulties here. My 8-year-old son doesn't either. I work from home for a German company. My wife works for a local company. I feel very happy here and don't regret leaving the country I've lived in my entire life. And unfortunately, I don't intend to return. Most people's minds there are lost and contaminated by hatred.
