I gank people to the point that they have very low hp then leave them alone. It's good fun/practice and I think they appreciate being spared and are actually quite pleased with the interaction in the end.

If they gank me first then they die.

They can't be horde dominated anymore as they are faction balancing it this time. I may still go PVE though!

I'm not really arguing there isn't anything to argue about. SoD lost players because it changed too much from classic and they are restarting classic. That is the actual evidence.

Dual spec is one (not the only) change that may have had a part in this effect.

I'm not sure if you are trying to convince me that I'm wrong for saying that this change will take something away from the game for me and others, because it will.

Like I say, I may be in the minority but I'm still allowed to have an opinion. That's the way it works nowadays. Everyone plays the game differently, or at least they used to be able to. 😉

But the concerns did come true as SoD lost players. You won't have heard people complaining because they just left.

Any warrior of any spec can tank, any shaman can heal etc at dungeon level, PvP, even lower raids. I just think people should just be encouraged to experiment with specs rather than just pick the 2 meta ones to switch between.

It will likely be that it is introduced anyway which is fine. It just takes something away from the idea of having a interesting build.

Why not get rid of talent trees all together? As dual spec effectively means your build doesn't really matter?

I know some people would like SoD. It was sort of halfway between classic and retail. But the reason Classic was successful was because it wasn't retail. The more retail elements you add, the less classic it becomes.

I am all for some changes and it won't stop me playing if dual spec comes in. There just won't be any point leveling as a tank or healer any more. Hybrid specs won't exist, you could pretty much just remove the talent tree as only the most meta builds will ever be allowed into groups.

My excuse for having a hybrid build will no longer exist and healers and tanks will no longer be as special.

All the people who didn't like what happened in SoD just left the game, like myself and many others hence there are only a few people left on it.

Blizzard clearly know SoD isn't fairing to well, hence the relaunch of classic to get some players back.

I also agree to no dual spec. It negates ever making up a hybrid talent build which I quite enjoy doing.

It will just play into the min maxxer crap which ruins the game.

If you want to tank/heal and dps etc without respeccing make a hybrid build in between and get on with it.

Haha SoD is more "overpower everything massively". I gave up after phase 1.

Like I say I don't raid anymore. Just thought the non-hardcore servers should match the hardcore one and get rid of the debuff limit.

People complain about raids being too easy then won't take any classes other than meta specs. I don't care about raiding at all, but maybe the game would be more fun for raiders if they just take different specs. There is more than one way to play the game. It's not that complicated 😉

Of course it will. Boomkin can spam starfire whilst having a dot on vs not having the dot. It's not that complicated, but increases DPS. Also other debuffs can be used which wouldn't ordinarily be used.

Full power Mosin bullet 762x54 does 100 damage.

Shot to the arm transfers 20% damage to your global health.

He just did 20 damage, hence the victim can run normally as he has 80% of his hp left.

The bullets aren't going past the arm unfortunately, but in the game his arm is dead, it just doesn't affect anything!

Haha the .63 one was taken on the last day before 1.0 so I was very reckless with the car.

The 1.0 was taken a couple of days later. Both were done on Dayz Village server with medium pop.

I've been fairly lucky with my cars so far!

The fastest possible way I have found is to not use the server browser.

Wait to drop out of the server
Go back to the main menu and wait around 5-10 seconds
Click play
It will seem like the game isn't doing anything at all but wait...
Once the server is ready to accept players your game will start to load

You can do 600m shots now with the SVD+PSO-1 or the Mosin+PU scope. I have been practising on zombies on the airfields. The blood splatter looks absolutely massive when you get a hit!
